About TVWS
The Temecula Valley Wine Society was founded in 1982 originally under the name of Women on Wine and assumed its present name in 1986.
The Temecula Valley Wine Society (TVWS) is a non-profit organization for all persons age 21 and older and is dedicated to the appreciation of wine through education and fellowship. TVWS provides volunteer support to the local wineries and to the Temecula Valley Wine Growers Association for wine events throughout the year.
As part of our mission TVWS awards scholarships to qualified students in the fields of enology and viticulture. These scholarship funds are accrued from donations and other events held during the year. In addition, TVWS is a supporter of the Temecula Library, helping to establish a lengthy list of "wine" related books.
